Generally, the rock would be crushed to a size from about 10 to 20 mm (3/8 to 6/8 of an inch) and this initially crushed rock is fed in a water slurry, generally in the range of about 50% water, to the high speed grinding equipment with high speed mixing generally in the range from about 150 to 1500 rpm.
