The washing machine is only 2 months old and it doesn''t have a detergent drawer. The soap just goes in a hole in the side that goes into the machine almost right away. Also we use just a basic liquid soap. And it''s a top loader not a front.
Sick of this problem. Every so often the washing cycle finishes and nearly every item has this dirty brown sludge type stuff on it. Any idea where it''s coming from as we''ve to wash again and are wasting water, power and detergent? :mad: Doesn''t happen every time.

The water itself was disgustingly silty and cloudy and then I filtered all 20some gallons through cheese cloth and collected the same sludge from there and from the insides off all the buckets.

10/6/2016#0183;#32;The brown gunk is the dirty muck from our clothes built up over time. If you use an old toothbrush up in the outlet hose just in from the end. That brown gunk will be all over it. Just like shower drains yuk. Running the washing machine on the hottest wash without anything in it. I personally add vinegar to the load before I start it.
Similar problem we have a top loader, trying to figure out why the sludge accumulates it smelled like sewer. The tub clean cycle doesnt fix the problem. When we took tub out it was absolutely unbelievable, pics attached, there was black water, sludge, slime. There is corrosion on the outside of the tub and on the bottom. Its only 4 years old.
